Williams Bros Brewing Company is a micro brewery based in Alloa -
Central Scotland. The company is run by Scott and Bruce Williams (thus
the name) ably and wonderfully assisted by a staff of 8 folk. They have
been brewing a range of esoteric ales in Scotland for over 20 years
starting wth their now very well known Fraoch - Heather Ale. They added over
the years more 'Historic Ales' as they learnt of their earlier existance
and developed the various recipes, there are now 5 'Historic Ales' in their range . The various places they have operated from are
too varied and frankly convoluted to go into in this introduction
however, five years ago (summer 2004) they took over the brewery and
bottling plant in Alloa and have gradually developed a range of
beers under the 'Williams Bros' banner to complement their existing
