Classic Reserve Sauvignon Blanc comes from selected blocks planted in Leyda Estate. Canopy management is carried out in order to protect the fruit from direct sunlight and therefore, keep the brightness of the aromas during the ripening period.
Winemaking is made orientated to preserve the varietal aromas and flavours and the sharpness and freshness of a cool climate Sauvignon Blanc.
The grapes were hand harvested during the mornings of the third week of March then went to a sorting table, making sure that only ripe and rot free clusters went into the press. The must was fermented at low temperatures to preserve the intensity of aromas.
Classic Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is intense and fruity on the nose, with citrus aromas of grapefruit and mandarin. On the palate, it shows bright acidity and freshness, sweet citrus fruit, green apples and a mineral character. Light body and a lingering grapefruit aftertaste.
