Now under the management of Christine Dupuy, Domaine Labranche Laffont is an old family estate located in the heart of Madiran. By adopting modern techniques she gets the most from the distinct local grape varieties to produce wines that are structured, with strong fruit favours and give a unique taste experience. These wines are perfect expressions of the notion of terroir – they are true to themselves, uncompromising and will develop in their own time.
A strong wine for strong food, just now coming into its peak. Flavours of dark cherries, figs and pepper. Elegant and very well balanced.
Tannat, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc
Leathery fruit. Savoury, earthy and pruney. Balanced and supple tannins. Very attractive and characterful.
